Warranty

We sell hardware we would install ourselves. If a product we sold you fails because of how it was made, we will put it right. This page explains what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim.

10-year no-rust promise on stainless steel hardware

Our stainless steel hardware is made from duplex 2205 marine-grade stainless steel, chosen because it holdsup around pool water, coastal air and harsh sun. We warrant it against rust for 10 years from the date ofdelivery, including installations beside saltwater pools and in coastal locations.

Covered  Rust or corrosion of the stainless steel itself, and defects in materials or workmanship that stop the part from working as intended
Term 10 years from the delivery date, for the original purchaser
Remedy A replacement part of the same or equivalent model, or a refund of the part price if a replacement is not available

Tempered glass panels

Our 1/2" tempered glass panels are warranted to arrive free from manufacturing defects such as bubbles, inclusions or edge flaws, and free from shipping damage. Inspect every panel on delivery and report any problem before installation, with photos of the panel and its packaging.

What is not covered

  • Surface discoloration caused by pool chemicals, cleaners, fertilizer or iron particles left on the metal. This is surface contamination and cleans off, it is not rust of the steel
  • Scratches, chips or wear to a black or satin finish from normal use, impact or abrasive cleaning
  • Damage from incorrect installation, the wrong anchors for the surface, or use with glass other than standard 1/2" tempered glass
  • Parts that have been modified, repaired or used for a purpose they were not designed for
  • Glass broken or chipped after delivery, including during handling and installation
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, storms or ground movement
  • Labor, removal, reinstallation and any other costs beyond the part itself

Care that keeps your hardware looking new

Rinse hardware with fresh water from time to time, more often near salt water or after heavy pool chemical use, and wipe it down with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid steel wool, wire brushes, bleach and acid-based cleaners, which can damage the surface.
